Attendees at the 2007 National Guild of Hypnotists Convention will be able to obtain certifications in hypnotism, and as a certified consulting hypnotist. The NGH Convention will offer 280 seminars and workshops in hypnosis and topics related to hypnotism, all of which will count toward NGH Continuing Education Credits. Select classes will provide NAADAC, NBCC and CA CNE approved credits for nurses, counselors and other mental health professionals.

(PRWEB) April 26, 2007 — This summer, the National Guild of Hypnotists is offering a certified consulting hypnotist course as part of the NGH Summer Institute and the NGH Convention and Educational Conference. For many who will attend, learning the techniques of hypnotism offers an additional proficiency that they will add to their skills and credentials as nurses, counselors and coaches. For others, becoming a certified consulting hypnotist marks a major career transition and the promise of new opportunities to help people in meaningful ways. The NGH Convention, the nation's oldest and largest convention of hypnotists, meets this summer with comprehensive educational seminars that will enable everyone from hypnosis newcomers to nurses, health care workers, counselors and other hypnosis professionals to earn certifications and continuing education credits recognized by most state boards. CREDIT
To receive CE/CNE credit for the Counseling/Nursing track you must do the following:
• Sign-in for each CE/CNE credit approved workshop at the convention.
• A Continuing Education table will be staffed by Peachtree Professional Education, Inc. in the NGH Bookstore.
CE/CNE certificates will be awarded for each class you attend and will be available for pick-up at the Bookstore CE table following each class.
• Partial credit for a class will not be awarded. You must sign in and remain present throughout the class to be awarded CE/CNE credit.

FEES
There are NO additional fees for receiving CE/CNE Credit at this NGH National Convention — EXCEPT FOR FLORIDA PROFESSIONALS ONLY, who require a $25 processing fee, payable at the NGH event at the time you receive your Certificate(s) in the bookstore.

BOARD APPROVALS
• If you have questions about CE/CNE approval or acceptance, you must contact your State Regulatory/Licensing Board before registering for courses. Most state mental health related Boards will accept NAADAC and NBCC approval, or reciprocity with one of our specific State Board approvals.
