You may already know that the theme for this year’s NGH Convention and Educational Conference is: The Bridge to Excellence.
Have you thought about what this really means? Why are we comparing the 2007 NGH Convention to a bridge? And if it is a bridge, how does this bridge relate to you and your practice as a professional hypnotist?
Start by thinking about the functions of a bridge:
· A bridge helps you span an obstacle, regardless of whether that obstacle is a river, a canyon, or any other type of impediment that might hinder or block your ability to move toward your goal.
· A bridge is strong. You must be able to cross a bridge safely, confident that it will support your weight, even if you are overloaded with burdens.
· A bridge allows a flow of movement in two directions. You can cross it, secure in the knowledge that you are not headed down a one-way path, and that you will be able to move freely between your starting point and your destination.
The NGH Convention is your Bridge to Excellence, and it is built on the power of learning.
Each letter in the word “L-E-A-R-N” represents one of the pillars that supports the NGH Bridge to Excellence.
