Susan Gayle:

"The Annual NGH convention is a must for every serious, professional Hypnotist!"

The Annual NGH convention is a must for every serious, professional Hypnotist. Where else can you get so much information in so short a time? It’s jam-packed with everything you ever wanted to know about this great profession of ours from the best experts. And talk about friendly! This is the most sharing, generous group of people I’ve ever had the great pleasure of being part of. It’s the most joyful and stimulating time of the year. Be there!

Having been to many conventions over the years, I have to say that the information gained by attending workshops and networking during those few days is always helpful in updating yourself and your practice! I find it very useful in expanding the NGH certification student's knowledge (both past & future)…

"I was impressed with all the classes that are offered besides the seminars that are included!"

2006 was my first convention and I am going again this year. I was impressed with all the classes that are offered besides the seminars that are included. It does become difficult to choose which ones to attend as all of them are on wonderful topics. Everyone at the convention is helpful and very friendly…and you just might make a friend or two. If you have a chance to go to this fabulous convention, do so and find out how full filling it is!

Attending the NGH Annual Convention is having a wealth of information at your fingertips. There are so many topics from which to choose. If you are interested in conducting a specific type of session, or want to learn more about a particular topic, chances are there is a seminar or workshop available at the NGH Convention. You can learn from so many fantastic presenters and instructors. This is a great place to network with hypnotists from all around the world. It's amazing how much we have in common. Every year I look forward to seeing all of the friendly people I meet at the convention. Great source of knowledge; great source of fun. Save me a dance!

The President of the Massachusetts Senate, Robert E. Travaglini, has signed a citation from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, proclaiming August 5-11, 2007, as “National Guild of Hypnotists Week.”

The Official citation bears the seal of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts State Senate and states that it is being awarded, “in recognition of your dedication in advancing the art, science, and philosophy of hypnotism. The House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has also extended their congratulations to NGH “in NGH Recognized by Legislatorsrecognition of fifty-six years of providing, an open forum for a free exchange of ideas concerning hypnotism and currently leading the movement for legislative and public recognition of hypnotism/hypnotherapy as a separate and distinct profession in the healing arts.”

And as we take the NGH Convention back to Marlborough for the third consecutive year, the City of Marlborough has officially proclaimed Saturday, August 11, 2007, as National Guild of Hypnotists Day. This proclamation, signed by Mayor Nancy E. Stevens, bears the official seal of the City.

Isn’t it nice that legislators and civic leaders recognize and appreciate what the National Guild of Hypnotists stands for and has accomplished over these many years?

What is The Bridge to Excellence?

Will you be on the Bridge to Excellence?

You may already know that the theme for this year’s NGH Convention and Educational Conference is: The Bridge to Excellence.

Have you thought about what this really means? Why are we comparing the 2007 NGH Convention to a bridge? And if it is a bridge, how does this bridge relate to you and your practice as a professional hypnotist?

Start by thinking about the functions of a bridge:

· A bridge helps you span an obstacle,   regardless of whether  that obstacle is a river, a canyon, or any other type of impediment that might hinder or block your ability to move toward your goal.
· A bridge is strong. You must be able to cross a bridge safely, confident that it will support your weight, even if you are overloaded with burdens.
· A bridge allows a flow of movement in two directions. You can cross it, secure in the knowledge that you are not headed down a one-way path, and that you will be able to move freely between your starting point and your destination.

The NGH Convention is your Bridge to Excellence, and it is built on the  power of learning.

Each letter in the word “L-E-A-R-N” represents one of the pillars that supports the NGH Bridge to Excellence.
